This information is provided by the candidate

I am a life long upstate New York resident. I was born, raised, and educated in Binghamton. I graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1977. From there I went to Broome Community College and graduated with an Associates in Applied Science degree in Business Administration in 1979. I then transferred to what was then called SUNY Binghamton (now Binghamton University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1982.

After a six month stint as a bookkeeper for an oil and gas distribution and retail company, I moved to the Syracuse area for four years during the mid 80's while working for the NYS Department of Labor. I moved to the Capital District in 1987 and have lived there ever since. I worked for the Department of Transportation for 14 years as an internal auditor and senior accountant. In 2001, I went to the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. I worked there as an associate auditor/associate internal auditor until 2008. I left their to start my own business, which is a customer service and retail operations evaluator.

I am married with one child.
