Candidate Summary

I believe Camarillo residents of all ages deserve a quality health and wellness services. The Health Care District takes over where other services cannot meet our needs. I will join others in sustaining current programs that meet the transportation, medical, and education needs of the community.

Many residents are unable to afford the services that they need. The Adult Day Care Support Center and the numerous Support Groups are our community treasures. I will bring additional resources through partnerships. I will stretch our money.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Director of the Oxnard College Job and Career Center

25 years of leadership positions with Chambers of Commerce, American Red Cross, Rotary International, and the Community Economic Development and Private Industry Councils.

Taught management and economic theory classes at Oxnard College for 31 years and for UC Davis Extension for 11 years

I am a Viet Nam Veteran (served in the Philippines). I earned a BA in Economics from UCSB and an MBA from California Lutheran University.

FAMILY: Married for 32 years with two children ages 23 and 27 Resident of Camarillo for 31 years My family came to Ventura County in the 1880s
