To fix California, we can't afford more of the same in Sacramento -- the spending, the waste, the abuse of power. We need new people with new ideas and a new respect for voters -- independent leaders who will do what's best for the people of California, not for the special interests that run Sacramento.

I'm an aerospace engineer who solves tough problems every day. I have four patents pending, and the ability to think outside the box to find new solutions to old challenges. This is the problem-solving spirit I'll bring to Sacramento.

I'm a lifelong California citizen and the son of a commercial fisherman who taught me to value hard work and honor my promises. I have engineering degrees from Stanford University, and strongly believe we can return California to greatness.

Hundreds of companies have left our state in recent years. We've lost over 634,000 manufacturing jobs since 2000, many from the South Bay and Southern California, costing us billions in lost revenue and economic growth.

To restore jobs and economic opportunity, I'll work to streamline regulations, control spending and lighten the tax burden on families and small businesses. I'll hold government accountable, and be a strong advocate for common sense and fiscal responsibility.

I am totally independent of the special interests. I owe them nothing. My loyalty will always be with you.

I'm proud to be endorsed by LA Supervisor Don Knabe, former LA Mayor Richard Riordan and the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. I would appreciate your support too.
