Candidate for
United States Representative; District 47

This information is provided by the candidate

As a resident of district 47 for more than 30 years, I know the needs of my community. I have been serving the community for 19 years, and it will be a great honor, and privilege to be your representative in Washington. I have served my community as a Social Worker in the In Home Supportive Services program, CalWORKs and Medi-CAL program and as Contract Administrator. In August 2003, I founded the Santa Ana Family Empowerment (S.A.F.E) non-profit organization to serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community of Orange County. Some of my civic involvement has been with the Registrar of Voters, 2000 U.S. Census, led a Voter Registration Project for Santa Ana and Garden Grove, Adult Protective Services and served on the Board for the Santa Ana Youth Council.

I believe that UNITED we can face our current and future challenges as a nation, and together we can find sustainable solutions. Unity has been the reason why our great nation has maintained its global leadership and has allowed us to succeed in the worst adversities. You deserve public servants who are working for "you" not themselves or their party's interests. There should be no room for career politicians in our Federal Government.

I am committed to be your voice in Washington DC on issues that matter most and truly represent the needs of our Community. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure that we find sound solutions to the following:

  • Economic and Mortgage Recovery
  • Job Creation
  • National Security
  • Improve Education
  • True Immigration Reform
  • Quality Social Programs

I am eager to bring new and real change to district 47, change that matters and delivers to the needs of our community. I will empower residents by providing the resources and collaborating with business owners in finding solutions on how to stimulate our economy. Working together, we will build coalitions that will strengthen our nation because "United WE ARE One."
