Jobs & Economy

By Michael J. Esswein

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 29

This information is provided by the candidate
Grow our economy, create jobs, lessen the tax burden.
We need to grow our economy and put Californians back to work. Californians are some of the most inventive, industrious people, but the state economy has been hampered too long by red tape. I support taking a serious look at California's maze of regulations and keeping only the most critical ones while streamlining the process, once again making California competitive with the rest of the country. I support giving tax breaks to companies in their infancy to help them get going. Green jobs are the new frontier and I believe that tax incentives should be provided for this industry. Germany gets more of its power from solar energy than sunnier California. This is proof that California can and must do better.
