I have been honored to be a trustee on the Board of the Windsor Unified School District for four years. We have worked diligently to create a vision for the future of our district and its mission to support the students, teachers and staff. I offer my experience and talents to help our schools adequately plan for the challenges of future growth within the district's limited funding sources. I want to see our vision through to its completion and continue to take an active role in the ongoing improvement of our local educational system. I worked hard with the administration in support of the bond election, making sure our district received the funds to continue building and improving our children's schools and classroom environment. I am a CPA specializing in the construction industry with thirty years of expertise in budgeting, financial analysis and business contracts. My skills are a perfect fit for a district that is constructing new facilities, yet is also facing tight budget constraints. I have three children who all attend Windsor public schools. I was Windsor PTA President and also directed a statewide scholarship program for many years. I would appreciate your vote to re-elect me, Katy Dillwood, as Trustee. |
