Town of Atherton Financial Status -

We need to work together on sizing the town's cost structure to match the expected revenue growth for the long term. Atherton's financial issues are real and are serious. Re-elect me for continued improvement to Atherton's financial condition. My strong financial background (please see 'Experience tab') will be valuable in deciding what we need to do to make our town financially strong for the future.

High Speed Rail -

As a member of the Rail Committee, I personally spent a great amount of time working with other Peninsula Cities Consortium members on this issue. Atherton is well known in our state legislature and at the high-speed rail authority because of the active engagement of many of our town residents on this issue. I am proud to be part of a team who have spoken up on behalf of the Atherton residents to preserve property values and livability.

Public Safety -

Always a #1 priority to our residents and I will do everyting possible to continue making it a priority for the town government. Disaster preparedness, safe routes to schools and all the extra policing services we expect from our public safety officers are concerns for the community + as well as what it costs to provide these services. We need to continue to work together to find the right long-term sustainable solutions for how best to provide these services.
