Her presence on the commission will provide a wider breadth of innovative ideas including the need for a master plan to redevelop all of Pillar Point while the Perched Beach facility is under discussion and smart growth principles at Oyster Point. Balancing the needs of the business owners, fishermen, property owners and those who otherwise visit or use the facilities is an important component in discussing the future of both harbors. She has a tremendous amount of energy and bright ideas that seek to balance the current uses with new ones which will support the people who have made the harbors what they are today. It's a nice balance, and one that will prove to be a positive addition to the commission."
