The Budget Must Reflect Residents' Priorities & Keep 20% Reserve
As Mayor, my priority is to see that the Budget reflects residents' priorities and also maintain the City's 20% reserve, even as we struggle with a fiscal picture that is less than rosy.
Proactively protect and enchance our Quality of Life and promote a thriving, green local economy
San Luis Obispo's quality of life is the key to our economic vitality.
We need to update our Land Use and Circulation Elements and Oppose Measure H
A lot of changes have occurred since 1994, when we last updated our Land Use and Circulation Element. We badly need to bring it up to date, prevent future ballot box land use planning like Measure H and craft a renewed vision for the future.
