Lee Chamberlain was born the youngest of six children in upstate New York. He attended public school and graduated with honors before attending Cornell University. He received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics and Management with a minor in the emerging discipline of Entreprenurial Studies. He was recruited by a privately held consulting firm that specialized in corporate brand development for large retailers.

For ten years he held assignments in the US, England and South Africa. He returned to the US to pursue a Masters Degree in Business Administration at The Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University. He remained with his employer and later took assignments in NY and Japan before settling in Cambria, his wife's hometown.

Lee and his wife, Alexandra, purchased the Courtyard Deli and successfully grew the business. They learned their preschool age daughter Elizabeth, who had been misdiagnosed as a late talker, was in fact deaf. The restaurant was sold, Elizabeth was enrolled in a Aural Oral School for the Deaf in Los Angeles and Lee created a new business. He designed a website using a early childhood development questionaire to identify other children with Special Needs. An investor purchased the website and related business. Lee then purchased The Brassworks, a manufacturer of specialty automotive parts where he presently works as the Chief Financial Officer.

Lee and his wife Alexandra have been married for twelve years and have two children who presently attend the third and fifth grade at the Cambria Grammar School.
