Jamie graduated with honors from California State University Humboldt with a BA in Political Science. Jamie continued studies in African Politics at Stanford University following graduation. She earned her Certificate in Day School Education and also holds a California State Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (July 2010). In addition to teaching elementary school the past four years, Jamie has been a youth group leader, coached middle school basketball, served as a grade-level student adviser, and was a participating committee member in WASC accreditation. Prior to teaching, Jamie worked as a corporate tax director in the entertainment payroll industry. Jamie actively participates in the community of San Francisco at every chance. You can catch her volunteering with community support groups or serving as a member of the T.E.E.I. Community Advisory Board among other pursuits.
