Steve Moss is co-founder of M.Cubed, a consulting firm specializing in resource economics and policy analysis; founder of San Francisco Community Power, which pilots innovative programs that address resource issues facing vulnerable communities; and publisher of the Potrero View, a neighborhood newspaper serving Dogpatch, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, and South-of-Market. He also serves as a Budget Advisor for the Office of Technical Assistance, U.S. Treasury Department (Senegal; Niger), and has been an adjunct lecturer in the public administration program at Mills College and San Francisco State University. Steve has been a frequent contributor to KQED-Radio's Perspective series.

Steve previously was a Budget Examiner at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget and Committee Staff for the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a Fulbright Scholar (India), W.K. Kellogg Foundation Leadership Fellow, San Francisco Board of Supervisor's appointee to the Potrero Power Plant Citizens Task Force, and Governor's appointee to the Inspection and Maintenance Review Committee. He has a B.S. in Conservation of Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
