I'm very aware that the decisions the Board makes now and in the near future may be a life-and-death matter not just for you, but for your children and family members. You deserve the best administration, the best physicians, the best nurses, the best equipment and the best governance by the Board. I am focused on delivering the best local healthcare to you.

There must be total transparency to you - the public - regarding the Board decisions. Executive compensation including bonuses, golden parachutes in executive severance packages, unique contractual arrangements must be brought before the Board for full and open discussion - not hidden from view.

The end result of good governance will result in a hospital that you - the citizens of the community - can be proud of and which you will unconditionally support.
