Her professional success has been hinged on a personalized approach to providing quality service, personal attention, and consistent follow-through with all of her students and their parents. Throughout the past nine years Jesseca has opened four additional locations throughout San Diego County and is currently both a Barona and a Viejas Community Educational Provider. At SDLC she has implemented unique programs and strategies to create a positive and nurturing environment that supports and sustains the academic and social development of all of the students she serves. Jesseca's philosophy of education at the SDLC is `to meet students at their level, diagnose their progress, and prescribe new learning'.

Jesseca believes in giving back. She is a proactive and committed volunteer and community leader. She has been a member of the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for the last seven years and was elected Chairwoman of the Board of Directors in 2010. In 2006 she was honored as the Entrepreneur of the Year and is an active member of the National Latina Business Women Association/The Latina Chamber, and is often invited to speak on entrepreneurial topics, most recently as the Honorary Keynote Speaker for the 2010 Annual Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum in Chula Vista, CA.

Jesseca is a loving and devoted wife of twelve years to her husband Duke and a mother of three children, Alessandra, Arramis, and Duke, residing in San Diego's south bay community. Her hobbies include cycling, walking, devoting time to nurturing her family, participating in her families extracurricular activities such as softball and soccer and lastly researching ways in which she can provide more helpful educational resources for her students. Her dedication to her family and to education is a part of the many reasons why Jesseca is running for Seat #2 on the Southwestern College Governing Board.
