Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: San Diego County Supervisor/Rancher
  • A native San Diegan and North County business man and avocado rancher.
  • Graduate of Mission Bay High School and San Diego State University.
  • Served in the United States Marines, where he earned numerous honors, including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.
  • Elected to the County Board of Supervisors in 1995, where his leadership has helped turn around a government on the verge of bankruptcy.
  • Serves on over 25 local boards/committees for housing, land use, water quality, public safety, economic development, education, transportation issues.
  • Bill and his wife, Kathy are residents of Valley Center. They have three grown children and six grandchildren.
