Public office is about service and trust. Local government is non-partisan, local and close to the people--and for that reason, close to my heart. We are a multi-lingual, multi-cultural community--just like my own family. We have over 8000 households within the city limits. I think we all want the same things: a home; be able to provide for our families; feel safe and free; stay healthy and happy with diverse opportunities.

I'm guided by this philosophy: The choices we make dictate the life we lead. I've worked steadily to implement the vision you called for in public hearings and questionnaires. You want a beautiful, safe community with good planning and design, strong infrastructure, enhanced cultural amenities and secure, established neighborhoods. You want our business community to prosper. I couldn't agree with you more.
