We need to come together as a community and work our challenges together.
OUr community is blessed with many Hispanic families. I value the beautiful contributions we all enjoy. I am concerned about the difficulties and challenges that many Hispanic families have as they try to work through our educational system. English as a second language is difficult. We rely on the involvement of parents to help with their child's needs with their education.

We need a strong representaion from the Hispanic community that will help create an environment that will successfully address the needs of the Hispanic communtiy. We need to learn what the challenges truly are and how best to make a difference. It our responsibility as a community to recognize that we are all in this together.
