My Priorities if elected are:

Return to a strong fiscal budget aligned with district priorities and strategic goals. Provide a strong, enriched and balanced curriculum that challenges and includes critical thinking, communication and 21st century skills programs.

Return to the safe and caring educational environment that has made Cambrian a special place.

Work to promote the open communication practices between parents, educators and board members.

Promote the maximized use of resources among schools, businesses and community.

My philosophy is highlighted throughout my priorities. To establish open communications with all stakeholders and effectively bring the variety of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences together to ensure the best possible decisions are made for the district. The School Board is a body where this is especially important as the diversity, a culture of mutual trust and respect work as the board is only effective as a whole not just any one person.

I have had the pleasure of working with many dedicated volunteers, staff members and administrators that work tirelessly to improve the Cambrian schools. As a parent, volunteer, community leader, and school board trustee working in the school community, I have experience and insight into the district's programs and community needs.
