Values-Based Leadership. Community-Based Results.

By John Radford

Candidate for Council Member; Town of Los Altos Hills

This information is provided by the candidate
My name is John Radford. I would like to share with you what I beleive in and why I am running for Los Altos Hills City Council.
Political Philosophy

I believe in family. My wife, Kathy and I have been married for 24 years. Together we have raised our two daughters, Kristin and Jaclyn who proudly call Los Altos Hills their home.

I believe in community. 12 years ago, we decided to move to Los Altos Hills because we fell in love with its rural charm, beautiful open space and pathways and vibrant community spirit.

I believe in philanthropy. Giving back to our community is very important to my family and me. I have been active with Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence and Resource area for Teachers.

I believe in education. Nothing is more important than the quality of education to build a community. I am a graduate of Stanford Graduate School of Business. My daughters attended Bullis, Egan Junior High and Los Altos High School.

I believe in leadership based on strong values. That requires attentive listening, careful consideration and balancing divergent viewpoints to arrive at decisions that are good for the entire community 00 not just in the short term, but also in long term.

During this election, I will share my story and ideas with you and look forward to your support in November election. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or ideas about improving our community: Jjohn@RadfordForCouncil.com or visit my website to learn more: http://www.RadfordForCouncil.com
