As a Councilmember, I have worked to keep our government accountable to residents of Morgan Hill. Over the past 4 years, I have been willing to ask tough questions, listen to the concerns of residents, and make decisions based on the realities we are living with in tough economic times. As Mayor, I will lead in the same way, ensuring that decisions are made in the best interest of all residents of Morgan Hill.

As Mayor, I would advocate for a zero-based budgeting approach, a method which prioritizes services and makes the City accountable for every dollar it spends. I would focus RDA money on economic blight, making loans available to struggling businesses to ensure their survival during the recession. I would work to bring retirement and benefit costs under control, as this is the biggest challenge facing our City.

I am committed to keeping Morgan Hill a wonderful city to live in, and ask for your vote on November 2nd.
