Al tomar pequeños paso, vamos a lograr grandes metas By taking little steps, we will accomplish great heights Biography I have been a resident of Fontana since 1981 and homeowner. I am a proud mother of a high school grad, from Fontana, who is in college. I had the privilege to have a strong wonderful woman, as my mother. She taught me, that I had to work hard, in order to accomplish anything in life. She taught me never to give up, but most of all she taught me, to always help and love my fellow man. This was our true purpose in life.

I graduated from Mark Keppel High School, graduated from Los Angeles sheriff Explorer Program, where LA Sheriff Peter Pitches personally gave me my diploma. I attended ELA College, Cal State LA, USC and San Bernardino Valley College. I was a trainee for the legal aid, in San Bernardino.

I have always been involved in our community, In Rosemead, CA we owned our business In-Come Tax and Immigration, we helped one thousand new legal residents, become Legal! In 1981 we moved to Fontana and become active members of our community, Fontana Collation and School Site Council. I helped our ELAC program, by making phone calls to encourage our parent involvement in our schools. I was owner and instructor of my own business, a Taekwondo School in Rialto. Were students were allowed to attain regardless of their financial situation, our students learned to have self esteem and to believe in themselves, that they could achieve anything in life. I am a Member of Catholic Daughters and was a foster mom for several years. We have opened our home to students who were homeless and helped them, to stay in school and helped them graduate from high school. Our family has donated furniture to our schools, task chairs to our teachers and to our student's computers; we help students who need help filling out their FAFSA, and enrolling them into college. Most important of all, I donated my time to the betterment of our community.
