Council Member; City of Citrus Heights

I am a registered Democrat for purposes of voting in statewide and national elections. However, my political philosophy is not subject to political party litmus tests, particularly at the local level. I feel that all legal residents of this country are entitled to an equal opportunity to succeed and that the government's obligations are first, public safety, second, provision of a safety net for the most needy, and third, generaton of an economic climate where people can live comfortable lives according to their desires and means. I believe that the laws of the land must be enforced in an evenhanded manner and that everyone must respect the rights of others.
