Ballot Statement

By Kevin M. Muldoon

Candidate for Trustee; South Orange County Community College District; Trustee Area 2

This information is provided by the candidate
I'd be honored to serve as your Trustee for Area 2.

Raised in South Orange County, my mother, brother and I attended Saddleback College.

My professional career includes serving as a Deputy District Attorney in the Orange County District Attorney's Office, sitting on the Orange County Treasurer's Advisory Committee and owning a small business.

A strong supporter of the community college mission which includes lifelong learning and reaching out to the many students needing access to courses during these difficult economic times, I'll continue the conservative fiscal management of the college district, which to the credit of the current Board of Trustees is debt free.

I'm endorsed by Board of Trustees President Don Wagner, a candidate for the California Assembly, Trustee Tom Fuentes, Trustee John Williams, Congressman John Campbell, Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, Assemblyman Jeff Miller, Assemblyman Van Tran, and Professor John Eastman.

My educational credentials: Doctor of Law Degree from Chapman University Law School and Bachelor's Degree from Loyola Marymount University, where I received the Dr. Singleton Award for Excellence in Economics.

An Irvine resident, I'm active in my church, serving as President of the Pastoral Council and teaching Faith Formation classes.

I'd appreciate your vote in November. Thank you.
