Los Alamitos has a unique small town atmosphere and charm which is one of the reasons we all live here. As your Council representative, I will work to preserve the quality of life we enjoy for future generations by making sure we retain our efficient police department and protect our parks and recreation programs that are so important for leisure enjoyment.

I want to see improved youth involvement in local government and program for our seniors enhanced.

There are challenges facing Los Alamitos, in today's difficult economic environment. We need to attract more jobs and businesses to Los Alamitos. This will help increase revenue for our City's operating budget. I have a vision to see the 13.5 acre parcial where our City Hall is located becoming a thriving, property tax and sales tax producing site. I've spoken about this in the past and a plan needs to be put in place to vacate that property from local government use to retail.

We must continue to monitor spending controls in the city budget to ensure a more cost-efficient use of our financial resources.

As a small business owner for 31 years, I have the operational and financial skills to contribute and enhance my role as a Council Member. I will seek increased tax generating businesses and ensure proper use of City resources to benefit all residents.

I ask for your support and vote on Nov. 2nd.
