Council Member; City of Fullerton; 4 Year Full Term

My name is Doug Chaffee and I am running for City Council. Fullerton is a very special place to me. I have been a resident for 59 years and own a small business in downtown Fullerton.

I grew up and attended public schools in Fullerton. My wife, Paulette, and I have raised our two sons in Fullerton. I currently serve as Vice-Chair of the Fullerton Planning Commission. My votes reflect my concern about maintaining our quality of life. I also serve on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

I am running for Fullerton City Council because Fullerton is facing serious financial issues.

I will use my degree in economics and experience as a business man to bring solutions to our financial concerns. I am calling for a top down audit of city finances, including pension obligations. We must be certain of our assets and liabilities now and into the future.

I am committed to streamlining the process of bringing new businesses and quality jobs to Fullerton.
