Council Member; City of Dana Point

Bill Brough is a government affairs consultant. Bill operates Brough Consulting, Inc., a Dana Point based small business. Brough Consulting helps clients navigate through the government bureaucracy at all levels to achieve their public policy goals.

Previously, Bill was a Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC from January 2001 - November 2004. He served as White House Liaison at the second largest Federal agency and nation's largest healthcare system.

Prior to serving at VA, Bill was a Congressional Aide to our former Congressman Chris Cox from December 1996 - April 2000.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving on active duty from 1986 to 1990 and 1991. Bill graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1995.

Bill is active in our community serving on the Dana Point Historical Society and Lantern Village Association boards and volunteering as a Dana Point Youth Baseball coach. Bill and his wife Michelle have two children.
