Over $3 Million Loss of Contingency (Retained Earnings) Funds

By Dan Presser

Candidate for Board of Directors; Monterey Peninsula Airport District

This information is provided by the candidate
Monterey Airport's retained earnings have dipped from $7 million a few years ago to about $4.3 million
The airport's contingency funds are dwindling to dangerously low levels. Retained earnings have dipped from $7 million to around $4million. Recently some funds have been restored. Retained earnings are now at about $4.3 million.

This could lead to the airport asking for tax money it is entitled to, but never asked for.

Why the drop in contingency funds and thus the need for never asked for but now needed tax monies?

The airport needs to be in better financial shape. Vote for Dan Presser and help the Monterey Peninsula Airport return to sound financial footing.
