If you are already a supporter of my campaign, thank you for your confidence. If, on the other hand, you have not yet decided who to support for the Division One seat on the Board of Directors for the Castaic Lake Water Agency, please review my qualifications. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your vote.

ABOUT ME: 28 year Santa Clarita resident. Canyon High School Graduate. Below-knee amputee raising money for limb-loss sufferers. Committee member on The Newhall Redevelopment Committee.

I moved to Santa Clarita with my family in 1980. I graduated from Soledad Elementary (now the Edwards Cinema Center), attended Sierra Vista Jr. High, Bishop Alemany High and graduated from Canyon High in 1991.

I am Executive Director of The Associated Builders & Contractors, California Cooperation Committee. We are a statewide trade association of public works contractors that believe in competitive bidding and taxpayer accountability for projects subject to California Prevailing Wage laws. My job includes daily advocacy on behalf of taxpayers and businesses to support job creation, cut red tape and ensure that workers are treated fairly and with respect. This leadership role puts me in contact with public and elected officials, building contractors, industry activists and working people from around the state. Prior to this position, I worked in the real estate, technology and manufacturing industries.

I was critically injured in a 1991 car accident that nearly took my life. In 2004, after exhausting every other possible option, I decided to have my leg amputated. Since becoming a below knee amputee, I have volunteered every year with the Challenged Athletes Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to limb-loss sufferers around the country.

I have a wonderful wife and three incredible children. Two of our kids are from previous relationships (one from my wife and one from me) and our youngest child is the product of our marriage. Blended families present unique challenges and wonderful rewards. Having experienced it, we wouldn't have it any other way.

I've had a lot of experiences in my life, and I've learned valuable lessons from every one. Today, I live everyday to be a positive example to my family, a follower of the Lord and a leader for responsible growth and change in my community, the state and around the world.
