Mission Statement

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Pomona; District 5

This information is provided by the candidate
For 23 years, I have resided in District 5. I was raised in Phillips Ranch,attended schools in Pomona, Mount San Antonio College, and the University of La Verne. I have been a COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER and represented our city as MISS POMONA. Recently I have seen my district deteriorate. It is obvious the quality of life for residents of the fifth district has drastically declined.

The citizens of District 5 and myself share many concerns.

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • PUBLIC SAFETY
  • MAINTENANCE and LANDSCAPING
  • FIRE HAZARDS

I have a vision of how District 5 WILL and SHOULD be. This includes revitalizing and renewing existing businesses and bringing new businesses, increasing revenue, renewing public safety and crime prevention; all essential factors to keep our District looking its best. I have the MOTIVATION, ENERGY, DEDICATION, and COMMITMENT to do what MUST be done to help the city so dear to me. As a two time NATIONAL CHAMPION in Speech and Debate I feel I have acquired multilingual skills to best voice and represent our community. For the next 4 years, We, the residents of District 5 must step forward to progress together.
