Board Member; Contra Costa Community College District; Ward 4

I am committed to making sure that our community college system is truly meeting the needs of students and faculty. In order to do that, it is critical that the Board and administration build partnerships throughout the county and actively seek and seriously consider meaningful input from CCCCD students, faculty, and community members.

I am committed to making sound financial decisions that deal with the on-going state budget cuts so we maintain a balanced budget. However, we must do that with carefully thought out decisions that maintain curriculum and access for all students searching for a higher education.

I am committed to building partnerships with all secondary schools' administration and board members within CCCCD boundaries in order to further develop and expand programs that better meet the needs of our student population.

I am committed to making sure that the CCCCD Board makes the decision making process transparent and gives interested student, faculty, and community members the opportunity to contribute information to be considered.
