Candidate for
Board Member; Byron Union School District

I was appointed to serve on the Byron Union School District Board of Trustees in November, 2009, to fill a vacated position. I have been an active volunteer and community member since 2003. My involvement in the Byron/Discovery Bay community is extensive, having served as a member of the Measure C Bond Community Oversight Committee, the SEED Foundation, Discovery Bay Elementary PTA and School Site Council.

I am a proud parent of two Excelsior students: Jarod and Rachel and have lived in the Byron/Discovery Bay community with my children and husband Mike for 12 years.

I bring to the Board of Trustees legal acumen gained through my employment as a Legal Administrative Assistant for the Law Offices of Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons since 1991.
