Professional Experience: (a)Classroom Teacher for 31 years - in the "trenches" on a daily basis; thousands of students educated; multiple responsibilities/opportunities (b)President of Antioch Education Association for 10 years - elected by members to 5 terms; work with certificated, classified and management personnel at school sites on a daily basis; work with District administrators regularly, including the Superintendent and Board members; attended 99% of all Board meetings over the past decade 3.
