Position Papers
It's Time for Action, Not Reaction
When the state eliminates funding for education, the College Board only seems to look to corresponding cuts to deal with their own financial shortfall. Where are the plans to find new revenue instead of slashing programs?
It's time for a change on the Contra Costa Community District Board
It's time for a change on the Contra Costa Community District Board and I feel I have the knowledge, experience and passion to help turn our colleges around. We're headed in the wrong direction. The cost of college is going up while the quality is going down.
My Plan: Taking Action for a Change
For decades, the College District have invested in building infrastructure--thanks to the 2002 and 2006 bonds passed by the voters. However, while the District built grandiose campuses, education and the plight of students were neglected. Where are efforts to find supplemental funding to invest in our people?
