I have always been an advocate for public education and value the importance of such. My son will be attending these schools in a few short years and I want the best public education available to him. As a small business owner, I have managed and understand the importance of budgeting. I previously taught in the private sector, volunteered and spent countless hours working with child advocacy and service organizations. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Service and just completed my final course for my Master's in Education. With these skills, knowledge and experience I believe I can bring a healthy perspective to the board.

Children and education are my life and passion. I believe in high academic standards and school accountability. If elected, I will work hard to ensure that every dollar benefits our children's education. Student success will remain my priority by working closely with parents, community members, teachers and other governing board members.

As a School Board Member and representative, I will work to make sure our children receive the academic skills and training necessary to prepare for life beyond their school years. I ask for your help, support, vote and endorsement in November.
