Because I have worked 40 years literally 'in the field' beginning in a ditch with a shovel, I have always believed in the working people. I have been involved at many levels in going to bat for labor. I always have the interest of the employee in mind. I was the youngest apprentice on the Oroville Dam Project. Water has always been a great interest of mine since I was a little kid; its origin, where it goes and the effects along its course. I still love water and am very knowledgeable in Northern California water systems. I'm a 59 year resident of Butte County having been born and raised in Gridley. I have been married to my only wife for 35 years and have two Daughters who also live in Oroville. In my past I have been pro-active in proctecting prevailing wage, Lake Oroville issues, fish enhancement programs, future water development programs, dams, upper water storage above Lake Oroville, etc.
