I am running for City Council because or my concern about the welfare of the City of Alameda. One of my greatest concerns is that outside interest are trying to take control of the entire city government. I will work tirelessly to prevent that from happening. I believe that 85% of the voters made the right choice in rejecting Measure B and that we now need to move ahead with plans for Alameda Point that are in the community's best long term interest

2. I am running for City Council to provide support a sane plan for Alameda Point, a plan such as the Community Reuse Plan which was adopted by the council in 1996. I also supports Measure A, which limits housing density and has kept our community a desirable place to live and work. Any future growth needs good planning to avoid traffic congestion and to keep our community safe and pleasant.

3. I am running for City Council to promote a plan that would restore, renovate and reuse buildings to provide jobs and tax revenues to allow the city to continue to make improvements to the infrastructure. Reuse and not the destruction of buildings at Alameda Point will create needed jobs which brings in revenue for the citizens and the city of Alameda. We need jobs

4. I am running for City Council because I believe in fairness and honesty. I keep my word and I do not promise what she can not deliver. Some may consider these old-fashioned values, but I believe them to be essential in order to restore faith in government.

5. I am running for City Council because I want to see more transparency and openness in government. The people have a right to know what their government is doing.

6. I am running for City Council to work with the city employees and the Alameda Citizens to establish fair and equitable employment retirement benefit plans of the city employees.
