Lorrin is a 7 year resident of Union City. He and his wife Kelly, a life-long resident of Union City, bought a home in Union City in 2002. It is here that Lorrin has chosen to raise his three young sons, Jackson, Brayden and Tysen.

Lorrin's extended family has been involved in the City of Union City for over 30 years and he wishes to continue to proudly follow in their footsteps.

Professional Experience

Lorrin began his professional career in 1999 as a Senior Associate with an Executive Search firm DaVersa Partners. During this stage of his career, Lorrin worked with many Venture Capital Firms in addition to emerging technology companies headquartered in Silicon Valley to help recruit the leadership teams that would build many of the "Valley's" success stories we know today.

In 2002, Lorrin was himself recruited to serve as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a Human Resources Software and Services company named UltraLink. During his five year tenure, Lorrin was a key part of the executive leadership team that was able to stabilize the companies operations, restore profitability, and grow revenues ultimately leading to the successful sale of the business to a Global HR Software and Services Company.

In 2007, Lorrin continued his career with PeopleClick, a Global HR Software Company, as a Sr. Account Executive for the Western Region. During his time with PeopleClick, Lorrin continued working with many Fortune 500 companies to help provide software and services that support evolving business needs.

In 2009, Lorrin joined Ceridian, A Global HR Services Corporation, as the Major Account Representative working with large Fortune 500 Corporations in the Western Region. Lorrin also serves as a principal advisor to the Executive Search Firm Curtis Ellis Search Partners, a company he helped co-found in 2007.

Emphasis in Education

In 2008, Lorrin's eldest son Jackson began his elementary education at Tom Kitayama Elementary School. Lorrin became a fixture at the campus, volunteering for varied events such as serving as the BBQ master for the Kindergarten picnic. The following year, Lorrin was elected to the Kitayama Elementary School Site Council and currently serves as its Vice President. During his tenure, he has helped address many critical issues facing our local schools in addition to improving overall student safety through initiatives such as the installment of additional crosswalks.

Lorrin's Mother-in-Law proudly served the New Haven Unified School District as a Teacher's Aid at Barnard-White Middle School and his Aunt as a Teacher, Principal and the Exective Director of the Cabello Student Support Center within the New Haven Unified School District for over 30 years. His Wife Kelly held a long-term substitute position at Barnard-White Middle School, teaching 7th and 8th grade special education.

Dedicated Family Man

Lorrin has been happily married to his wife Kelly for 9 years. He is the proud father of three sons, Jackson - 6, Brayden - 5 and Tysen - 4. Jackson and Brayden, along with two of his three nieces, will all be attending Tom Kitayama Elementary in the fall of 2010. During the past couple of years Lorrin has been an active participant coaching his childrens athletic teams in addition to supporting various extra-ciricular activites in the community at large.
Education
Lorrin is a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, California. He was a Political Science Major and also served as the Captain of the Chapman University Football Team.
