Candidate for
Board Member; Hayward Unified School District; Unexpired Short Term

I have lived in Hayward for over 20 years. During this time, I have been actively involved in many aspects of the community, both professionally and personally. I served on the board of directors of a number of non-profit organizations and served on various task forces formed by the school district. I know this community as a result of my active involvement. Whether it has been helping in the YMCA or serving on the Finance Committee for All Saints, I have endeavored to make Hayward a better community in which to live and work. Indeed, I currently serve on the Board of Eden Housing, an organization which constructs, owns and manages affordable housing throughout the Bay Area. My interest in serving the Hayward-community is not new; it is something that has the focus of my attention for many years. It is this passion for community service that prompted me to serve on the Hayward School Board.
