  • Pushed For BART Accountability Act Bill to pass in the State Legislature and Signed into California Law to Create Police Oversight Commission

  • Created first Small/Minority/Women-Owned Business & Bonding Committee

  • Fiscal Accountability Enforced which Resulted in a $8.5 Million Surplus

  • Secured funding for the Oakland Airport Connector
- Created BART's first ever Project Labor Agreement (PLA)
- More Jobs, Apprenticeship Programs, Small & Local Contracts

  • Fruitvale Station + Phase 2 Housing by Signature Properties

  • Dismantling of BART Station + Future Transit Oriented Development
(Lake Merritt Station)

  • Expanded wireless mobile network to underground stations in downtown Oakland

  • Never Imposed Parking Lot Fees at the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART Station

  • Improved parking lot Infrastructure & Painting at the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART Station

  • Helped build the Fruitvale Bike Station

  • 17 Additional Community Based Meetings Held Throughout 3 BART Counties to improve service for underserved communities
- District 4: African American, Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Native American and more.
- I attended all 5 meetings in District 4 reaching over 500 people.

  • Continued our Earthquake Safety Program, which is on time and under budget

  • Fought for multiple language Signage/Literature on the behalf of the Limited English Proficiency Communities

  • Expanded our environmentally-friendly power resources by installing solar-powered voltaic applications at Richmond and Hayward Yards, with additional work planned at the Orinda and Union City Stations

  • Once again demonstrated that BART keeps the Bay Area moving, which we proved twice this year during the planned closure of the Bay Bridge over Labor Day weekend and the unexpected closure in late October

  • Fought for the new installation of electronic lockers at the Lake Merritt BART Station for cyclists, wheelchairs, and other non-motorized vehicles

  • Positioned BART to proceed with the procurement of 700 cars to replace our aging fleet

  • Fought For Paratransit Riders To Receive $200,000 To Deflate Fare Hikes
