Member of the State Assembly; District 53; Democratic Party

I strongly maintain the core Democratic Party's principles and have done so since registering with the party at the age of 18. I believe resolutely in The Constituion of the United States and I feel the Democratic Party is more in tune with its tenets. I will continue to work as I have over my entire 15 years of public service and elected career to advance pragmatic Democratic solutions to complicated matters. I am committed to always bettering the lives of all the people I am called upon to serve. In the State Capitol I will reach out to other pragmatic leaders to work quickly to balance our budget through small business job growth. And I will work very hard to protect and strenghtened public education and to maintain strong public safety.
