Born in Oakland, CA Moved to Northern, CA when I was six years old.


Elementary School, completed in El Dorado County. Graduated from Sacramento Union Academy in 1966. Graduated from Pacific Union College, Angwin, CA,with B.A. degrees in Theology and History, 1973. Graduated from Andrews University Theological Seminary, Berrien Springs, MI with a Master of Divinity degree, 1984. Hospital Chaplain certificate, Sutter General Hospital, 2000. California Real Estate License, 2001. California Insurance License, 2007.

Work Experience:

Employed as a parish pastor for 23 years in Minnesota, Michigan and Nebraska. (1974-1982 and 1984-1999) Served as a residency chaplain at Sutter Medical Center, 1999-2000. Taught school in the San Juan School District, 2000-2006. Operated small businesses 2001 to present.

Married and the father of two daughters.
