Now more than ever we need to stand up for what we believe in and I believe that it is our conservative values that will help put America back on the right track. I also believe that I am the best chance for the Republican Party to win in 2010.

I have a plan to Make California Special for a new generation and that means creating more jobs by making it easier to start and run a business. I am running for the US Senate because we need to reform our government to provide the capital for entrepreneurs who can hire people at high tech start ups that will make America competitive in the new global economy.

Basically that means cutting government regulations and taxes that cripple economic opportunity. This is why the centerpiece of my campaign is a proposal to eliminate quarterly estimated tax filings for small businesses less than 3 years old or with less than 3 million dollars in revenue to allow them to keep more cash to run their business rather than being run out of business by government red tape. It is these types of businesses, Main Street American businesses who hire 5, 10 or 15 people and are the economic backbone of our economy. We need to help these entrepreneurs rather than bailing out big banks and failed corporations run bankrupt by the Unions and this is how we will get America back on the right track.

I also believe that now more than ever we need to stand by the beliefs that make America the freest country in the world by demonstrating fiscal restraint, maintaining a strong defense, effectively managing our natural resources and protecting our Constitutional Rights.

But the issue that comes up the most on the campaign trail is Illegal Immigration and the social dilemmas we face as a result of growing social dependency on government welfare. This is why this election calls for leadership who can take the lead on Immigration by working from a position that tells the world that the Republican Party appreciates that America is a country built by Immigrants.

So my philosophy is that those coming to America for freedom came to the right place but those looking for a free ride made a big mistake. We are ready to give people a hand up to learn the American Way but we can't afford to give handouts. America is also a nation of laws and those who enter or stay illegally are not above the law so beware that breaking our laws will not be rewarded. Most of all I was taught that the American Way means speaking English. Not because it is the official language or the only language but because it is the language of commerce and prosperity everywhere in the world and we need everyone to be productive and prosperous to get America back on the right track.
