Dear Voter, Thank you for reading my background information. Perhaps we'll have some things in common. I have lived my entire life in San Diego County. I graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1968 and from San Diego State in l973. In 1975 I started a small business and incorporated it in 1980. I managed that business for 25 years. Along the way, I became a firefighter-paramedic, and have served in that career for 23 years. I am currently an Emergency Operations Supervisor in the City of San Diego, supervising paramedics and EMT's in the field. In addition, I had the privilege of coaching highschool football for ten years.

Personally, my wife, Susan, is a registered nurse at Pomerado Hospital, and I have two sons. Danny, 28, is a fellow graduate of San Diego State, and Jonathan, 20, is attending Palomar College. Susan and I live on a small ranch in western Ramona, where we enjoy every day of our busy lives.
