Statement of MARTIN MONICA, Candidate for
Sheriff

Occupation: Teacher/Community Policing Consultant
Education and Qualifications:
     Martin Monica has committed his life to public service.

     Retired Police Chief Martin Monica knows the importance of leadership and community. Martin Monica has a Bachelors in Social Work and is completing his Masters in Education. I will work with the community to improve awareness and education on the important steps of prevention to reduce future violence. I will have an open door policy. I will guarantee easy access and communication for the public, because I believe these promote a working partnership between law enforcement and the community it serves. I will maintain Zero Tolerance for Drugs and Weapons to ensure a safe learning environment for our children. I will emphasize community policing as a vital step in reducing crime.

     My vision is to achieve a safer community, using a style of policing that promotes respect and trust, and encourages the community to participate in ensuring a safer community. I ask that you join me in promoting a safer community, Vote Martin Monica For Sheriff.
