I grew up in District 7, and attended Willow Glen Middle School, which was known as Markham Middle School at the time. I then graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1984. After which I attended San Jose City College while working a variety of jobs, including fundraising for amateur athletes and night security. Then I went to work for a variety of high-tech companies, including Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, and Siemens.While I was at Siemens, I went back to school part time and by 2005 I earned two bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix here in San Jose. In 2002 I returned to work for Meriwest Credit Union where I honed my personal finance skills in the companies collections department. Presently I am working as a consultant for a local C.P.A. firm that is utilizing my skills to audit methods and procedures used by their clients that wish to update them and streamline costs.
