In these uncertain economic times, I believe the Republican Party should focus solely on providing solutions to the severe fiscal problems in our county, state, and nation. We are overtaxed, and too often our money is spent irresponsibly. For example, in Orange County we witness teacher layoffs while our taxes continue to finance multiple layers of a vast bureaucracy at the State Department of Education. Many other taxpayer-funded agencies, such as CARB (California Air Resources Board) and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), also need to be evaluated for redundancy; their budgets need to be reduced and many should be eliminated entirely.

If elected to the Orange County Republican Party Central Committee, I will support those candidates who reflect these ideals: a return to the founding principles of our Constitution which include individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility, free market, and a strong national defense.
