I believe local control is best for our students, parents and taxpayers, and never voted to raise your taxes.

As the current President of the Orange County Board of Education, I worked to:

Hold school leaders accountable; Reduce costs and administration; Raise academic standards and test scores.

I assisted in the development of the Sunburst Youth Academy with the National Guard, worked to keep students safe from internet predators, and am currently working on a unique safe schools emergency communications program. I serve on California's federal legislative committee and the national Hispanic scholarship committee.

I earned a Doctorate in Music Education from USC, am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, run a small business, and am the parent of a freshman at CSU Fullerton.

Over the next four years, I will fight to:

Reduce regulations from Sacramento and Washington, D.C; Hold school leaders accountable; Reduce costs; Provide the best education for every child.

My leadership earned me the endorsements of:

Congressman Dana Rohrabacher Congressman Ed Royce Parents, teachers, school board trustees, and city council members.

Please join my supporters. Mark your sample or absentee ballot now and vote for Alexandria A. "Alex" Coronado.
