Alene B. Harris, is married to Ben Harris, Jr., two lovely daughters, Nakita M. White and Shanta Q. White. A proud grandmother of twins - Asiah & Isaiah Arch, 12 years old.

Alene is retired from Chevron Corporation in El Segundo, California after 37 1/2 years of service who travel to many states, training new employees in various leadership areas. Alene was hired as Chevron's first female Africian American to work in their Production Laboratory testing Jet Fuel for Commerical Airlines, Submarine Ships, Asphalt, Thinners, Motor Oils & various grades of Gasolines. She held many positions such as Relief Plant Manager - Distribution Center, Laboratory & Payroll Supervisor, SOX Coordinator, Policy 530 Coordinator & etc.

In 2007, Alene was featured in a book titled, "Come Sunday Morning" - African American Women Worship in Style published by Black Pearl Publishing Company of Dallas, Texas. Alene enjoys community service work, bowling, reading, golfing and traveling.
