I believe in Leadership at WORK - in our county, communities and neighborhoods. Most problems can be solved through open discussion, creative assessment and responsive action. For three decades, I've used this approach to solve problems and find solutions. It works.

I have 22 years of private sector experience, 8 years of public sector work, and 30 years as a nonprofit volunteer. I understand how everyone can work together to address today's challenges.

We must:

  • Get people working and keep them working;
  • Provide vision and direction;
  • Involve and empower communities;
  • Deliver effective government, not big government;
  • Work together to solve problems.

As the District 2 Special Projects Manager, I've successfully tackled neighborhood planning and business development. I've developed solutions for road repair, libraries, illegal dumping, park improvements and recreational trails. I believe the challenges of shrinking budgets, failing infrastructure and increased unemployment are issues to be addressed, now.

As your Supervisor, I will provide hands-on "working leadership" to succeed in these tough times. I will dedicate endless time and energy to improve the quality of your life and the strength of our communities.

Thank you for your vote. I look forward to serving you.
