I have the experience. For the last seven years, I have been the Assistant Assessor, working side by side with Assessor Tim Holcomb to manage the $27 billion dollar inventory, to turn over accurate and timely assessment rolls, and to manage the office of the Assessor. Before that I was in private and public accounting and prior to that I served in the U. S. Air Force.

I have the qualifications. When I got out of the Air Force, I went back to school on the GI bill. I have a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from CSU Sacramento. I also hold an Advanced Appraisal Certificate for Property Taxes from the State Board of Equalization.

But my most important qualification is my committment to our community. I am a member of Kiwanis, and a member and director of the Taxpayers of El Dorado County. I serve on the Board of Directors of Family Connections and the El Dorado County Fish & Game Commission. i am a member of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class IV. I often donate boxes of hand tied trout flies to support events including the Rubicon Trail Foudation, American River Trail Fest, the Center, the Grape Escape, and others.

I have the trust, support and endorsement of Assessor Tim Holcomb, Supervisor Jack Sweeney, Supervisor Ray Nutting and dozens of other community leaders.

As your Assessor, I promise to continue the fair, impartial assessments and outstanding public service that is the hallmark of the El Dorado County Assessor's Office.
